Creating the visuals for the Luxembourg City Museum’s exhibition on association life in Luxembourg since the 19th century was a bit of a challenge, but we’re delighted to have met it.

The exhibition highlights certain aspects of association life in an entertaining way: the importance of statutes, the celebration of association anniversaries, competitions and the honouring of deserving members. We also learn how associations have contributed to political and social change. We chose to illustrate the diversity of Luxembourgish association by using a recognisable and dynamic colour palette. The key visual has been used to animate social networking sites, as well as for large-scale printing on the building’s windows and in the main hall.
